These antique Victorian earrings circa 1870’s are modeled in 14k yellow gold & silver, pavè set with a dome of vibrant Persian Turquoise cabochons and feature a star-shaped focal point of (5x) luminous Sea Pearls with a single center-set rose cut Diamond. The circular base of rich yellow gold is adorned with a twisted wire and beaded halo surrounding the beautiful Turquoise dome. The post back sits atop a charming flower style upper component decorated with granular detailing and connects to the lower disc that elegantly swings from the bottom.

The gold has the absolute ideal level of patina without too much darkening on the recessed areas. Just enough oxidation to bring out the stunning rich gold color and complement the blue/green Turquoise flawlessly.

Definitely a pair of statement earrings measuring 23mm in diameter and 34mm in total length. They are substantial in weight without being too heavy for the ears, weighing in at a total of 15.7 grams. The Turquoise has extremely minor oxidation which is rare for a piece of this age. A few of the cabochons have some chips and a tiny one on the bottom is missing from one earring (you really can't tell unless you examine closely) but overall these are in wonderful condition.
